Neverwinter: Shadowmantle

Postby Kethron » Thu Dec 05, 2013 2:22 pm

Neverwinter's newest module, Shadowmantile, is live today: http://nw.perfectworld.com/news/?p=1055571

The list of patch notes is HUGE! The most notable item is the relase of the Hunter Ranger class. 8-)

FYI - I've been playing a bunch of Neverwinter, Star Trek Online, and Rift, though lately it's been leaning more towards the first two.

I've only experienced a few levels of the class, but so far, the Hunter Ranger seems pretty awesome. 8-)

I played mine up to level 5 last night and it is pretty nice. Good Damage output, i would put it close to the TR.

Wow! When you get to level 10, and your Hunter Ranger gets his Melee Stance, that class gets pretty banans. Good bananas, mind you.

I have mine up to 25 and the class is still powerful.

I also still place it just under the TR in Damage output and about the same in squishyness.

The ability to switch back and forth from Melee is a ton of fun!

Wow . . . you level fast!

My HR is only level 12, and my HIGHEST level character is 32. I have been splitting time between a few F2P MMO's, though. 8-)

I have been playing with my son. We both have HR's and we kill things pretty fast. My highest is my TR at 43. the rest are 24-31. I took advantage of the double experience weekend around Thanksgiving to get all but the HR up in rank some.

I was *trying* to do that, and had gotten from 26 to 29 with my GWF in under an hour, but that's when my power supply decided to die. I didn't get it replaced and my computer working until well after the double XP weekend had finished.
